Kom med til en helt særlig langbordsmiddag i Kernen i anledning af Kulturnat. Vi skal nemlig smage på mad fra tre forskellige madkulturer tilberedt i samarbejde med beboere fra lokalområdet og en professionel kok (English below).

Mad har en helt særlig evne til at samle os og give anledning til at dele historier om mad på tværs af generationer, nationaliteter og kulturer, og denne aften skal I bl.a. smage på klassiske retter fra Danmark, Chile og Marokko. Maden tilberedes desuden med fødevarer doneret af Fødevarebanken, og anrettes på fade til deling.

Menu:
-Chilean ceviche (fish) and Chilean marraqueta bread
- Moroccan Couscous with chicken
-Burning love - a traditional Danish dish consisting of mashed potatoes topped with bacon and onions, (also available in vegetarian version with mushrooms)

Inden vi går til fadene, vil et medlem af Kommunalbestyrelsen i Brøndby Kommune byde velkommen kl. 17:30. Vi skal også høre fra Fødevarebanken, og så skal vi selvfølgelig møde de mennesker, som har stået i køkkenet og tilberedt et tværkulturet måltid til os

Til Langbordsmiddag anrettes dagens menu på fade, som deles ved hvert langbord. Du må meget gerne være opmærksom på, om alle ved bordet har fået, hvad de kunne tænke sig, eller at du eventuelt skal bede din sidemand række dig brødet, salaten eller lignende.

Tilmelding til langbordsmiddag slutter kl. 12 dagen før.

Pris for børn mellem 3-6 år: 45 kroner
Børn, der ikke er fyldt 3 år, spiser gratis med og kræver ikke tilmelding.

Cross-cultural long table dinner
Join us for a very special long table dinner in Kernen on Culture Night. We will taste food from three different food cultures, prepared in collaboration with residents from the local area and a professional chef. Food has a special ability to bring us together and give rise to sharing stories about food across generations, nationalities, and cultures, and this evening you will taste classic dishes from Denmark, Chile, and Morocco. The food is also prepared with food donated by the Food Bank, and arranged on platters for sharing. Before we dig in, a member of the Municipal Board of Brøndby Municipality will welcome us at 17:30. We will also hear from the Food Bank, and then of course we will meet the people who have been in the kitchen and prepared a cross-cultural meal for us.

For Long Table Dinner, the day's menu is arranged on platters shared at each long table. You should pay attention to whether everyone at the table has had what they would like, or whether you may have to ask the person next to you to hand you the bread, salad, or the like.

Registration for the long table dinner ends at 12 the day before, so the kitchen knows how many people they have to shop for and prepare food for. Sign up via the app AKF Fællesskab or buy a ticket via the link below.

Please note that when you are registered via the app, payment for dining will automatically be deducted via the app. You therefore do not have to pay for your participation in the café. Beverages excluded.

Price for children between 3-6 years: DKK 45
Children under the age of 3, eat for free and do not require registration.
