Milonga er en traditionel tangofest – en dansefest, hvor alle kan være med.

Vi sætter stemningen med levende lys, dug på bordene og argentinsk musik, og din vært, Eduardo – Kernens tangounderviser sørger for hjælp til trinene, og Dj Anita Doby sørger for musikken.

Til Milonga følger man den traditionelle milonga-kultur ’cabeceo’. I stedet for at spørge en eventuel dansepartner, om han eller hun vil danse, benytter man sig i stedet af nonverbale tegn, som et elegant nik med hovedet i personens retning. Hvis personen ønsker at tage imod invitationen, rejser denne sig blot og dansen kan begynde.

Men bare rolig, Milonga handler først og fremmest om at have det sjovt og aftenens vært sørger for at bringe dig sikkert igennem.

Welcome to Milonga at Kernen
We invite all milongueros to Kernen in Brøndby on Friday March 8th, for our first milonga.

Milonga at Kernen is a new initiative to encourage social dancing, support our tango community, and keep it strong and alive. Kernen is a great venue to host a milonga and all you beautiful dancers of the tango community.

The concept is simple. At Kernen we will offer dinner, drinks and milonga to promote social dancing activities in Brøndby. We hope to repeat this event once a month, but we require your support to make it thrive and grow in the future.

We wish to follow the traditional milonga culture of cabeceo (subtle sign to invite for dance sequence (tanda). But we implore you all to be patient and keen to help teach first-timers about the secret codes of milonga.

70 kroners per person. Entry ticket includes a glass of wine/beer/soda.

The parking garage located next to Kernen offers two hours of free parking. Remember to set the parking clock.
Beyond two hours, you must pay for parking through either Apcoa-parking app or EasyPark parking-app. See instruction signs at the parking garage.

Grundet Hofors arbejde på Kirkebjerg Parkvej, er vejen p.t. ensrettet. For at tilgå Kernen og Kernens parkeringshus i bil, skal du således komme kørende fra nordsiden via Stationsparken.
